What is Verta?
Simeon Williams founded Verta Associates OÜ to deal with the rising investment advisory challenges of servicing UHNW clientele. Verta is a boutique advisory design house, and has extensive experience in alternative assets such as real estate, aircraft and yacht management. We work very closely with finance houses and legal firms to provide our clients their exact request in financial structuring; creating tailor made products to help boost liquidity for our customers.
What is your Minimum Loan?
Our minimum loan is €1,000,000 we do not have a maximum.
Do you do Single Stock Lending?
Our panel of lenders will either look at single stock lending as long as the artist has a strong pedigree but prefer a wider portfolio of art collections.
What Documentation is Required?
We understand the leakage risks involved of highly confidential information and will take care not to disclose your artwork to third parties without your consent. Lenders will typically want to see full provenance and want further understanding about the assets location. Know your customer (KYC) rules have to be adhered and so we will need to understand the wealth creation history of the underlying UBO.
What is your Term length?
In some cases we are able to secure terms to 5 Years but this is for blue chip pieces. Typically our panel of lenders are more comfortable with 24-36 months terms.
What Collateral can you look at?
Post-War & Contemporary Art Impressionist & Modern Art Modern & Post War British Art American Art 19th Century European Paintings Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art Dutch Old Masters We can also look at wine and car collections on a case by case basis.
How much Can I borrow?
Our panel of lenders can typically lend up to 60% LTV on your art collection. Blue chip paintings to be reviewed on a case by case basis.
Can I use my own Valuer?
We can assist in finding you a suitable valuer, but our panel of lenders will insist that you choose to have your art appraised their own preferred agents.
